LCM (Large Character Marking)
SSI offers many different types of LCM marking and coding products, from thermal inkjet to large print head, to printing on sheets of plywood. Print heights from 1/16" to 5"; bar codes from I205 to 2D; printing available on one to all sides; printing from operator interface to selecting messages from a database.
High Resolution Print
Our high resolution printers are able to print scannable barcodes, ingredients, logos, graphics, and text in high quality. The SSI system has print speeds up to 1,000 FPM. With our print system, you can get consistently high quality print, ink regularity, easy integration, and cartridge recycling for sustainability.
CIJ (Continuous Inkjet)
CIJ can print small characters at high speeds on primary or secondary packaging or product. SSI offers everything from a basic system to a high-performance system that runs 24 hours, daily. Our print heights range from 0.023" to 0.47". The CIJ printers we represent are easy to use and have proven reliability.
Label Systems
The labeling systems SSI represents are proudly Made In The USA and we are proud to offer these quality products to you. Our labeling systems, from "print + apply" to "apply only", set the benchmark in this industry. Our applications can apply labels on many surfaces, from corrugated boxes to compact discs. SSI also offers custom labeling systems to meet our customer's application needs.
Laser
Because there is not ink with the laser marking, the total cost of operation is low. Several of our manufacturers offer laser marking for glass, plastics, metals, paperboard and a variety of other surfaces.
Inks
SSI is proud that we only sell OEM inks to use in our manufactures equipment. This allows for warranties to be in place and for discounts on our service rate. Using SSI inks also allows for free inspection of equipment to keep up-time in production.
